I'd like to congradulate Colleen on her fine win...however there were problems with the judging and the tiebreakers and the voting from the competitors. When competitors vote it becomes a popularity contest not a surfing contest. TCH was suppose to have no TCH judges but all three were.No spectators were there and there were no stands provided. What I really want to know is how Miss Beaumont scores a perfect score 15 out of 15 when she blew her first run....judges have 5 pts each three judges 15 pts what BS Call it what you want but TCH contests are a popularity contest with nothing to do with skill...sorry but that how I see it...and so do alot of others in the surfing community.
I know what your thinking and no, not my comments. As long as I´m here though.....

What comes to my mind right now.. RELAX MAN! Get some life! One thing I hate the most is comments on judges scores after or during a comp. It's just something against all sportsman conduct. Especially ANONIMOUS comments! Desi might have gotten 15 out of 15 because that's not a SLSA score, but a choice between 2 riders. So, it's not a "perfect" score, but it means that 15 people thought that she was better than the other rider. I'm also very sorry that you didn't get through all rounds.
