10 September 2008 -- Here are the heat draws announced for the Surf City Open starting at 1100 hours SLT (1800 hours GMT) on Sunday 14 September 2008 at Surf City South beach. 20 surfers are expected to take part in the competition, which will take place on a double pipleline break with an open choice of competition boards.

9.30pm SLT 26 July 2008 - Here are the latest competition results brought to you exclusively by SurfWatch from the Surf City Classic surfing competition straight from Surf City South in Second Life.
Congratulations to rockytheskaterboy Dreadlow from Surf City's own Surf Team, who takes home the trophy from the first SLSA Surf City Classic. Another Surf City local, Mick Lunasea joined him on the winners podium in second place, with 10th ranked SLSA surfer Bobbi Laval coming in third.

23 July 2008 -- Here are the heat draws announced by the Second Life Surfing Association (SLSA) for the SLSA Surf City Classic taking place at 1100 hours SLT (1800 hours GMT) on Saturday 26 July 2008 at Surf City South beach. 26 surfers are expected to take part in the competition, which will use Rob John's Noserider longboards.
