Pova and Paeida advance to the Semi Finals from Heat 1. DeVinna and Bobbi go through to the Semis from Heat 2. And Colleen and Express from Heat 3.
"I'm looking forward to this competition," said surfer Wilfrid DeCuir, a.k.a the 'crazy Canuck', who is surfing in Heat 4. "It should be very interesting with the shorties, Pipeline 2.1 and the new physics. I've been doing lots of practice to stabilise my surfing since I'm so used to long boards. Team Tsunami has four surfers out there today. Hopefully one of us will make it to the final five! Woot! woot!"
