7.30pm 25 November 2008 -- Here are the qualifying scores announced by the Associação Brasileira de Surf no Second Life (Brazilian Second Life Surfing Association) or ABSSL for fourth leg of the Brazilian Surf Circuit held at Crab Island (Sunday 23 November 2008). Competitors surfed sequentially for five minutes each in the qualifying round, the top six scorers going through to the contest semi-finals. Congratulations to Tico Bechir on winning the competition!

10.30am SLT 9 August 2008 -- Organisers of Saturday's Pacific Coast Xtreme Tandem Surf Competition announced the heat draws and full list of tandem teams before the weekend. The contest takes place at 11am SLT Saturday 9 August 2008 at Redondo Beach (spectators stands are on the adjacent Freeport sim).
This event is for teams of two riders surfing one wave at the same time, one surfing a shortboard and one surfing a longboard. The contest will have three judges, one scoring for each rider and one for the overall performance of the tandem team. Other than that SLSA competition rules apply. Open invitation.
